Day 0 - Pre-Belize

Hello!!

We are a day away from leaving for our mission trip to Belize!  Many thanks to Alicia Davis and Woodrow Barnes, who coordinated this trip from The States and helped us get prepared both logistically and spiritually for it.

Over the past two months, three chaperones and 22 young ladies have been meeting weekly through prayer and discussion to prepare for what we are about to experience in Belize.

While the labor of our mission will be to help construct a spectator sitting area for a local soccer (a.k.a. futbol) field and restroom facilities, the other (and more important) goal of our mission is to build relationships with the people of Belize as a means of drawing ourselves and our faith closer God.  We will only be there for 7 days, but we hope, through our mission, we can leave a lasting impression on the community.

At the end of each day, students will provide a written commentary of the day's events along with a few select pictures that will capture the people we met, the things we did, and our surroundings.

We hope you enjoy the blog!
